In the pre-Cambrian era, before the time of cell-phone ubiquity, Cybiko was a wondrous handheld device which let tweens wirelessly text, play games, music, etc. We had to do something special to register as a blip on their radar.
We chose to position Cybiko as the hottest thing fresh from Japan, to the point where it looked like the ads had not even been properly translated yet, lending the brand that weird-yet-earnest Mentos-esque cool.
