Reaching teens on their cell phones is the new holy grail of many ad agencies and their clients, and Qwest is no different. To get this audience to see Qwest in a new and favorable light, we worked with local high schools and created a massive scavenger hunt in five states; "ConQwest."
ConQwest hinged on teens using Qwest phones to play. Each event was intensively covered by news media, giving Qwest priceless reach and publicity, plus the side-benefit of snookering over 600 teenagers to demo the Qwest phones to their friends and family as part of the game.
