We sold this campaign to Time Warner Cable while I was at SS+K. We were very excited to be producing such interesting work for a client and category that was usually more than happy with testimonial ads.
We got Mike Mills to direct and when it was done, "Bear Daughter," was #1 and Spot of the Day on AdCritic, and "Man-eating Westie" and "Son's Future" followed each other to the #1 most viewed spot for a week, but it was "Night Out" that landed in AdCritic's Top 20 most viewed spots of 2005. Sneaky mulletheads.
